Kate Thornton has graced the pages of Titan in three of it's six issues.  First we published After The Fall Comes Winter in our fourth issue.  Next, in our fifth issue, we published the fine story you are about to read.  Kate returned to Titan again with Yoon in our sixth issue.  We must admit that all three of her stories were in the running for the best story published in Titan during its first year and might have won all three had we not had other fine submissions from people all over the world.
